Margaret Martin Dies; Celebrate Mass Monday
Rosary was recited for Margaret Rose Martin, 86, at 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Peet Chapel and mass was read Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Leo's Catholic Church by Father Colm Woods. Mrs. Martin died at the Michael Manor Nursing Home in Douglas April 11.
Casket bearers were Paul Pfister, Joe Pfister, Henry Wasserburger Jr., G. A. (Jerry) Wasserburger, Edwin Tschacher and Frank Kuhn. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
Margaret Rose Bast was born to Mathias and Anna Bast at Glencoe, Minn., August 7, 1886. She was married to Luther P. Martin and the couple lived in this area for many years part of the time on a ranch north of Lusk.
Mrs. Martin has been a resident of the Michael Manor Home for a number of years. Survivors include Mrs. Edith Bast of Lusk, a sister-in-law, one niece and four nephews.
