Former Resident, Chet Matthews, Dies in Oklahoma City
Chet Matthews, 71, Oklahoma City, Okla., died November 7 at a hospital in Oklahoma City. Burial was there November 9 on his 72nd birthday.
He will be remembered by many Luskites as the meat cutter at the Lusk Table Supply Store, owned and operated by Harmon J. Templeton.
He was the son of Dr. and Mrs. G.A. Matthews, who had his practice in Lusk a number of years ago.
Survivors include his widow, Ruth, one son, Robert and four grandchildren, all of Oklahoma City; and one sister, Lulu Boyd Johansen of LeGrande, Ore.
