Delmar Lorn Frye was born March 10, 1934 in Pierce County, Nebraska. He left this world June 2, 2016 at Niobrara Community Hospital in Lusk.
In 1954 he married Barbara Lee Hall.
Delmar had several occupations in his lifetime, including harvesting produce, seismographing, roughnecking, ranch hand, police work, and a number of years driving trucks.
He was preceded in death by his father Earl George Frye, his mother Martha Maude Frye, his daughter Virginia Lee Jackson, and two nephews. He is survived by his wife Barbara Frye, his son Lorn Earl Frye, daughters Becky Rea Butler and Martha Kay Kolden, eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
No service is planned at this time. Pier Funeral Home is assisting the family.

A memorial service for Delmar L. Frye, 82, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Sat., September 3, 2016, at Pier Funeral Home in Lusk. He passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Niobrara Community Hospital in Lusk.
