Ellis Johnson, father of Lawrence and Alfred, and a Lusk pioneer, died Tuesday morning at the advanced age of sixty-eight and was buried yesterday in Lusk cemetery. Mr. Johnson was a native of Norway and came to this country when quite young. He settled in this part of Wyoming thirty years ago and opened the first store in the old town of Running Water, coming later to the present town where he and a brother went into business together. He leaves a widow, four daughters and two sons, the mother and daughters being residents of Seattle Wash.
