Mrs. Wiegand Dies Here Thursday
Mrs. Ernst Wiegand, 76, of Lusk, died March 6 at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from Peet Chapel with burial in the Lusk Cemetery. The services were in charge of the Niobrara Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
E. L. McKnight and Mrs. Robert Bramlet sang "Beautiful Isle" and "In the Garden." Mrs. J. P. Watson was organist.
Pallbearers were O. M. Rasmusen, D. A. Shoopman, John Lorenzen, Roscoe Ross, Graydon Hoblit and James Hoblit.
Mrs. Wiegand was born March 3, 1882 in Chicago, Ill. She has been a resident of this community for the past 15 years. Survivors include here husband, Ernst of Lusk.
