Former Lusk Depot Agent Dies in S. D.
Larry Hamblin, 62, one time reasident of Lusk, died Tuesday morning at Belle Fourche following an extended illness due to a chronic diabetic condition.
Mr. Hamblin married the former Orian Mayes of Lusk. The Mayes family is one of Lusk's pioneer families and the late Jim Mayes was an early day editor of The Lusk Herald.
Mr. Hamblin was a former agent of the Chicago and North Western Railroad here. He later worked in the same capacity at Belle Fourche.
Funeral services will be conducted this Thursday afternoon from the Frost Mortuary in Belle Fourche.
