Paul D. Brey
Paul D. Brey, 69, of Richland Center, and formerly of Ontario, Wisc., passed away on February 12, 2004 at the Richland Center Medical Center.
He was born October 11, 1934 to Harry and Lela Brey of Ontario, Wisc. And was the youngest of eight children.
He attended school there and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Paul grew up in the United Brethren Church and later joined the Baptist Church.
Brey retired several years ago from the Forest Service in Wisconsin and enjoyed the out-of-doors. Hobbies included fishing and writing for wild life magazines. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters.
Paul is survived by three sons, Scott Poff of Ontario; Brian Poff of Cape Coral, Fla.; and Paul Jr.(Virginia) Brey of Ontario, Wisc., one granddaughter, Hanna Brey; one daughter Susan Diny of Hillsboro, Wisc., one sister, Hester Smith of Lusk, Wyo; two brothers, Roger (Carol) Brey of Mount Tabor, Wisc. and Ervin "Audie" Brey of Sparta; and other relatives and friends.
Private family funeral services were February 13. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Ontario, Wisc. assisted the family with arrangements.
