Dottie L. Warnock Funeral services for Dottie L. Warnock, 90, were held Monday, May 19 at First United Methodist Church in Douglas. Rev. Harry B. Randall, III officiated with burial following in Douglas Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Warnock died May 14, 1986 at Converse County Memorial Hospital following a long illness. She was born Aug. 19, 1895 in Fairbury, NE, the daughter of Wadsworth and Allie (Mitchell) Shane. She was reared and educated in Fairbury.
On Nov. 7, 1915, she married Raymond J. Warnock in Fairbury. They lived in that area until 1929 when they moved to Sidney, NE. In 1931, they moved to Van Tassell, WY, and later to Dubois. They moved to Douglas in 1951.
Mrs. Warnock had worked as a bookkeeper for Anthony Clothing Store for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist church in Douglas.
Survivors include one son, Raymond V. Warnock of Douglas; one brother, James Shane of Lusk; two sisters, Hattie Tim of Denver, CO; and Lela Rohrbaugh of Powell, NE; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, and one brother.
Memorials to the Douglas Senior Citizens would be appreciated by the family.
