Arnietta Augusta Peterson
Former resident Arnietta A. Peterson died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1985, in Casper. She was 96.
Mrs. Peterson was born March 9, 1889, in Dennison, Iowa, the daughter of Dorthea and Lorenze Heller.
While very young she moved with her family to Neliegh, Neb. She married Henry Peterson in 1907. They homesteaded near Van Tassell in 1909.
She and her husband moved to Lusk in 1952. She made her home here until 1952 (as printed) when she moved to Casper.
She is survived by a son, Vernon of Casper; a grandson, Dean of Glenrock; two great grandsons, Steven of Casper and Kevin of Glenrock, and a sister, Blondena Haberstroh of Grand Island, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two infant daughters, three brothers and three sisters.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Oct. 5 at Peet Mortuary Chapel in Lusk. The Rev. Glenn Johnson of the First Christian Church of Casper officiated. Burial was in Lusk Cemetery.
