Edith M. Bone
Edith May Fullerton was born Feb. 1, 1910 in Atkinson, Nebr., the daughter of Ernest E. and Lily Maud Gray Fullerton. She died at Niobrara County Memorial Nursing Home April 19, 1984.
At the age of four years, she migrated to Jireh with her parents, brothers and sisters where her father homesteaded.
She attended grade school at the local school and finished her high school years at Manville where she was graduated.
On April 10, 1929, she was married to Emmit Bone and to that union one son, Donald, was born.
She attended summer session at the University of Wyoming to upgrade her certificate so she could teach during World War II during the shortage of teachers.
Edith worked at different jobs in the county and locally, but her main interest was living in the country with its many diversions from ordinary housework.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband Emmit and one son, Donald, both of Lusk, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services were conducted at Peet Mortuary Chapel in Lusk April 23, 1984 with the Rev. Roy Howell officiating.
Music was provided by Minerva Watson, organist and Joy Kaltenheuser who sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden".
Active pallbearers were Richard Lenz, Lee James, Bud Hoblit, Jim Groves, Dick Heine and Bill Haworth.
Interment was in Lusk Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Niobrara County Nursing Home.
Arrangements were by Peet Mortuary.
