Clara P. Whelan Funeral services for Clara P. Whelan of Chadron, NE were held Saturday, December 10 at 10 a.m. at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Rev. Paul Hebbert officiating. Burial was at the Lusk Cemetery.
Mrs. Whelan died Wednesday, Dec. 7 at the Crestview Manor Nursing Home in Chadron.
The daughter of Thomas and Ozella Manning Davis, she was born Oct. 1, 1899 in Maxville, KS.
Mrs. Whelan was affiliated with Rebekahs Eastern Star, and the United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Lena Hebbert of Chadron; brother, Harry Davis of Boose, AZ; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the Chadron Rescue Unit. Donations may be sent to Abbot Bank.
