Darlene L. Renzelman
Services for Darlene L. Renzelman, 58, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 21, 1991, in the Peet Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Allen Kallenbach and Rev. Mark Lohr officiating. Burial followed in the Lusk Cemetery.
Renzelman died Tuesday, June 18, 1991, at the Niobrara County Memorial Hospital in Lusk following a short illness. She was born Jan. 20, 1933, in Merriman, Neb., the daughter of Clifford and Leona "Swede" Hendricks. When she was five years old, the family moved to Glenrock, Wyo., where she attended schools.
On June 30, 1960, she married Art Renzelman in Douglas. The family lived in Glenrock from 1960 to 1966 when they moved to Douglas for two years. In 1968 they moved to Lusk.
Darlene worked at Safeway for five years and then at Coast to Coast where she was employed at the time of her illness.
She was the mother of three children; Ron Wilmes of Jeffrey City, Wyo., Deb (Mrs. Danny) Scott and James Renzelman, both of Lusk. She was "grandma" to six children, Misty Hahn, Danielle and Dawn Scott, James II, Zachary and Brittany Renzelman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford and one sister, Cliffadean.
Survivors include her husband, Art, of Lusk; her children, six grandchildren: her mother, Leona Hendricks, sister Lois Kennaugh and brother Herb Hendricks, all of Glenrock; plus numerous other relatives and friends.
For those who wish, memorials to the Lusk Congregational Church will be appreciated by the family.
