Oliver Pearson Dies in Montana
Oliver James Pearson, 65, of Miles City, Montana died at the Holy Rosary Hospital March 22 and service was held March 24 at the Chapel of Graves Funeral Home with burial in the Calvary Cemetery. Officiating was Father Patrick Berther of St. David's Catholic Church of Broadus, Mont.
Mr. Pearson was born August 9, 1906, at Garden City, S.D., the son of Edward and Viola Pearson. The family moved to Iowa where he attended school and lived until moving to Wyoming in 1932.
He married Ellen O'Shea on August 24, 1936, and lived in the Lusk area until moving to Miles City in 1941.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Robert Scheibel, Miles City, Mont., Mrs. Don Phillips, Fromberg, Mont., Mrs. E. Roy Carsi, Billings; three brothers, Roy E., Miles City, Barney, Lame Deer and Leo of Monroe Wash.; two sisters Mrs. H. N. Black of Lodge Grass and Mrs. Paul Sorensen, Coon Rapids, Iowa, and seven grandchildren.
