Frank Paschal Long Time Area Resident, Dies
Frank Paschal, 77, a rancher in the Lance Creek area for 45 years, died last Thursday in the Niobrara Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health for some time.
Funeral services were held at the Peet Chapel at four o'clock Saturday afternoon with the Rev. Roger B. Koen in charge. Mrs. A. F. DeCastro and Mrs. Emerson Bonner sang "Going Down the Valley" with Mrs. J. P. Watson as organist. Pallbearers were: Leonard McCullough, James Krejci, Roscoe Ross, Alex Gunn, Earl Farrington and Harry Williams. Honorary bearers were: Ray DeGering, Henry Bray, Frank Johnson, Rolla Saddler, Joe Traphagan, Louis Krejci, C. W. Erwin, and Luther Penfield, Sr. Burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
Mr. Paschal was born in Fayetteville, Ark. June 12, 1884, the son of Jesse and Anna Marrs Paschal. He left Arkansas in 1912 to ranch in Shamrock, Tex. He came to Wyoming in 1917 to homestead in the Lance Creek area. He married Ruby Rankin in Lusk, April 4, 1931.
Survivors include his wife; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Leimser of Lusk, and numerous nieces and nephews, He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
