Last Rites Held For Leo Eutsler
Funeral services for Leo R. Eutsler, 61, who died here March 6, were held from the Peet Chapel Saturday. The Rev. Edward Poser of the Manville Community Church officiated and burial was in the Lusk Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Pat Miller, Wm. Nuttal, Clem Mosier, Lloyd Tschacher, Dick Heine, and Dave Bryant. Honorary bearers were Harve Ledford, Dick Lee, Hans Gautschi, Dale Windom, A. B. DeCastro, Henry Amend, and J. P. Watson. Mrs. Watson was organist, and James Willson sang "Beyond the Sunset".
Leo Roy Eutsler was born April 13, 1900 at Glendo, one of nine children of Charles A. and Millie L. Eutsler. The family moved to a ranch near Manville in 1903. He was baptized in the First Congregational Church of Manville in the early 1900's. he attended school at Manville and Jireh College. He was a veteran of World War I serving with the Air Corps in Europe.
September 15, 1920 he married Hazel Pinckley at Douglas.
The Eutslers homesteaded in the Lightning Creek community and lived there until ill health forced retirement. They moved to Lusk in January 1955. Mrs. Eutsler died in May 1960. Since this time Leo made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Catherine Thompson, at Lusk.
Of seven children, survivors include one son, Arthur of Sheridan, four daughters, Mrs. Millie LaBounta of Laramie, Mrs. Fay Landen of Scottsbluff, Mrs. Ada May Wampler of Jackson, and Mrs. Catherine Thompson of Lusk. There are seventeen grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Dryer of Manville and Mrs. Pearl Bowlds of Livingston, Mont., and a brother, Thomas Earl Eutsler of Lusk, also survive.
His wife and two sons, Leo and John, his parents and five brothers, Arthur, Theodore, Edward, John William and Charles, died previously.

Dryer, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Dryer, Mr. and Mrs. William Dryer, Mr. and Mrs. Louis LaBounta, Jr.. of Casper; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dryer, Frenchglen, Ore.; Mr. and Mrs. Roy N. Provost, Moorcroft.
